My Soaping Journey
When COVID struck in March of 2020 (I believe it hit earlier on other continents), and lockdowns were in place in many cities of the world, there was so much fear peddled in the news and I decided to unplug from TV and social media for my mental health and to keep my faith intact.
I had been curating skincare for my family and I for about 2 years prior, so I invested all my spare time and resources into researching skincare and watching soap videos. I got hooked, and still am.
Halfway through the year, I created so many soap bars, there was no way I could use them all, especially since I was continuously experimenting and churning out more. At this time, I figured that if I wanted to try out my numerous soap ideas, I’d have to start selling them. So I started looking into starting a skincare/soap business. Our Instagram store launched in February 2021 and has been going strong ever since.
